NGT’s D6CFMC is a dual pneumatic valve that maintains cylinder position by locking air in both cylinder ports. NGT’s dual pneumatic counterbalance valves perform the work of two PO check valves but in one valve package. Dual pneumatic check valves work well in horizontal applications by ensuring precise stopping. In addition this valve reduces jerky motion in pneumatic systems by constantly supplying back pressure to the air cylinder piston. The D6CFMC also works well in the vertical position by reducing bounce compared to a standard pneumatic PO check valve. The D6CFMC has 3/8 NPTF in/out ports, standard temperature seals, and a flush manual release. The D6CFMC has an adjusting screw on its counterbalance side that should be installed on the gravity-loaded side of the cylinder. This valve is also available in high or low temperature versions.
