NGT’s D8CFMAD is an adjustable dual pneumatic check valve that maintains cylinder position by locking air in both cylinder ports. The D8CFMAD has 1/2 NPTF in/out ports, standard temperature seals, and a flush manual release. The D8CFMAD is adjustable to handle lower pilot pressure.
  • Internal flow controls meter air out of the cylinder
  • Dual valves perform the work of two PO check valves, but in one valve package, eliminating pilot lines

  • Cross-ported to allow the valve to open when the control valve changes direction

Application & Function
NGT’s D8CFMAD is a dual pneumatic check valve that maintains cylinder position by locking air in both cylinder ports. This valve enables quicker stops if the valve is closing too slowly or drifting after changing direction on the control valve. Dual pneumatic check valves work well in horizontal applications by ensuring precise stopping. The D8CFMAD also works well in the vertical position by reducing bounce compared to a standard pneumatic PO check valve. The D8CFMAD has 1/2 NPTF in/out ports, standard temperature seals, and a flush manual release. Installing a D8CFMAD will reduce the time it takes for a PO check valve to close with a weaker pilot signal. Tightening the adjusting screw increases spring tension holding the valve closed, making the valve more responsive.
