NGT’s B4SCFM-12 is a swivel-mounted pneumatic counterbalance valve that will hold a load in position until pressure or force is applied to move the load. The male outlet allows the valve to mount directly to a cylinder or other pneumatic device. The male outlet of the valve swivels, allowing the valve to rotate as needed around the cylinder. The B4SCFM-12 counterbalance valve helps prevent cylinder runaway for vertical cylinders carrying a load. The B4SCFM-12 has 1/4 NPTF female inlet, 1/8 NPTF male outlet, and a blocked pilot port. The valve is internally piloted via a small air channel connecting both sides of the valve. As pressure builds in the valve during cylinder runaway, the valve will flutter and not reopen until the pilot signal is energized, continuously modulating. It has standard temperature seals and a flush manual release.
