NGT’s B8100FL pilot operated check valve with flow controls allows for metering airflow through the valve, slowing down how quickly the valve exhausts. This prevents crash landings and helps reduce cylinder bounce. Note that restricting airflow through the valve will also slow down systems. NGT’s flow control valves have an adjusting screw that reduces how far the poppet can lift up off of the seat. The B8100FL has 1/2 NPTF ports and 1/4 NPTF pilot port. The B8100FL has standard temperature seals and no manual release. Installing B8100FL flow control valves provides a more affordable solution than a using a separate flow control valve while also reducing leak paths and simplifying piping. The B8100FL also can accommodate as low as 40 psi pilot pressure.
